Mind Maps to Google Slides

My presentation inspiration usually begins as visual brainstorming captured in one of my favorite iOS mobile mind mapping apps. Here’s my workflow for transforming these maps into presentations in Google Slides.

Mind Map


STEP 1

Install the following apps on your iOS mobile device:


STEP 2

Create a mindmap in iThoughts.

For help with iThoughts see the website.


STEP 3

Use the iThoughts sharing capability to export the mind map into Google Slides as a PowerPoint .pptx presentation.


STEP 4

Locate and open the newly created PowerPoint .pptx presentation in Google Slides.

In the top right, tap the icon.

Tap next to Office Compatibility Mode.

Tap Save as Google Slides button to convert the PowerPoint presentation to the Google Slides format.


Use the Google Slides app or the Google Slides web interface to edit, format, share & present the slides.
